Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is: Switch Radio (company no. 08438993) whose registered office is at Lower Ground Floor, Topcliffe House, Hawkinge Drive, Castle Vale, Birmingham, B35 6BT.
2. The start and finish date of each competition will be made clear on air and also on the relevant entry page on the website. Entries made after the finish date will not be accepted. Entries made before the start date will not be accepted.
3. We reserve the right to change the closing date for a competition if we have a valid reason for doing so. We will announce this on-air and make it clear on the website. In the interests of fairness, we will not bring closing dates forward.
4. There is no entry fee to enter our competitions. We will only accept competition entries online; entries by email, text or phone will not be accepted. We may invite applications via external websites, for instance Facebook or Twitter. This will be made clear both on the website and in annoucements on air.
5. Only UK entrants are accepted. We reserve the right to charge postage if you are unable to collect prizes from our studios.
6. Closing date for entry will be listed on the page detailing the competition. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter's control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
10. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
11. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
12. Winners will be chosen: at random by software at Switch Radio. The selection will be monitored by another volunteer who will countersign the competition winner selection form.
13. The winner will be notified by email, phone and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
14. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
15. The promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
16. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
17. Volunteers, directors or employees of Switch Radio, nor their immediate family members, are eligible to enter any competitions. In these rules, "immediate family" is defined as spouse/domestic partner, children, siblings, parents and in-laws.
18. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.
19. The winner's name will be available online within 28 days after closing date. In addition, winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Switch Radio's registered address.
20. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
21. Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified. Entries are limited to one per household. You must specify a valid address and postcode when entering. We reserve the right to remove additional entries beyond this limit.
22. We check the reserve the right to store your IP address to ensure you do not enter more than once. We reserve the right to ignore subsequent votes from the same IP address votes.
23. The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
